Christina’s Legacy Will Live On

Hello, I wanted to share a brief story – Christina took care of my premature nephew and was so wonderful with him.  Sadly despite heroic efforts, Craig did not make it.  That experience shaped my daughter Alyson’s future.  She has been accepted to 5 Nursing schools (and counting) for the fall and hopes to eventually become a neonatal NP.  I wanted to let you know that Christina’s legacy will not only live on in all the children she saved but also in people like my daughter who were inspired to enter the field of nursing after observing the miraculous work that Christina did.  We are very sorry for your loss.  Best regards, Mary Ellen Riley

Dear Gerard

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I first met Christina on the squash courts at the Edgemont Club in Calgary. I cherish the happy memories of our many battles on the courts. She was a talented player and always gave encouragement to others and useful hints! We enjoyed many good conversations during coffee times after our  games. Although we only saw each other once since she left Calgary I always looked forward to exchanging  cards and news at Christmas time.

Rest in Peace Christina. Your family, friends and workmates will miss you.
